We aim to ensure that as a student at the University of Northampton you will have a rewarding and enjoyable experience that equips you to secure the graduate roles you hope for, with the skills to shape the future.
Our Waterside Campus makes creative use of technology, freeing you from the traditional mass lectures, where the focus is on delivering subject content. Instead, we place the emphasis on understanding and applying knowledge through deep and meaningful interaction with teachers and fellow learners in seminars and tutorials. You will be immersed in your subject from day one, using authentic problems and industry-based projects to make your learning more interesting, meaningful and employment focused.
Many of our courses offer an additional placement year option. Our campus facilities include flexible teaching and learning spaces, workshops, laboratories, sports facilities, a doctor’s surgery, a shop for groceries, cafes and a restaurant, together with various accommodation options.
Studying overseas can be expensive, so value really matters. Both as a University and as a town, Northampton can really make your money go further. We award generous scholarships to support the cost of study. This includes our International Scholarship Scheme, which is a merit-based award providing up to 30% reduction in tuition fees. The town of Northampton is conveniently located between London and Birmingham, with fast and regular connections to cities across the UK, however the living costs are much lower than other UK cities.
