The University of St Andrews (University of St Andrews), founded in 1413, is one of the world's top universities in Scotland, England. The school was formally established after Pope Benedict XIII issued a papal edict to the Austin priests. It is the oldest university in Scotland and the third oldest university in the English-speaking world after the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
