The University of West London (UWL) is situated in the London borough of Ealing, a leafy enclave to the west of the city.
The institution is widely known as the 'Career University’, an accolade adopted by UWL in recognition of its excellent teaching standards and high graduate employment rates.
The university is comprised of nine academic Schools and Colleges:
• The Claude Littner Business School
• School of Computing and Engineering
• School of Law
• London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism
• London School of Film, Media and Design
• London College of Music
• School of Human and Social Sciences
• School of Biomedical Sciences
• College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare
These schools operate across three main campuses. Ealing and Brentford are close together, connected by a free shuttle bus, and surrounded by independent cafés, high-street shopping and plenty of entertainment venues. Students studying midwifery and nursing courses can also attend the Berkshire Institute for Health at Fountain House, in the historic market town of Reading.
Each of UWL’s campuses has excellent academic facilities, including libraries on both Ealing and Reading campuses, with open-access computers, e-resources, IT support and bookable study spaces. The university also provides industry-leading training facilities, labs and medical simulation centres.
