UKEC Taiwan recently celebrated a significant milestone by hosting its first-ever offline event since officially launching in the Taiwan market in March 2025. The event brought together students who are planning to study in the UK later this year, along with their parents, in an engaging and informative session focused on preparing for life abroad.
Held in a warm and welcoming setting, the event was designed to provide practical insights into what life is really like as an international student in the UK. Topics covered included cultural adaptation, academic expectations, daily life tips, and essential information to help students make a smooth and confident transition.
In addition to supporting students, UKEC Taiwan placed great emphasis on addressing parents’ concerns, recognising that the journey to overseas education involves the whole family. Tailored advice and one-on-one consultations were available to ensure parents felt reassured and well-informed about what lies ahead for their children.
