Important Update: UK Visa Fee Changes from 9 April 2025

The UK Home Office has confirmed changes to various immigration and nationality fees, including student-related visa fees, effective from 9 April 2025. These updates impact international students applying for study visas to the UK.

Key Changes for Students:

Fee from 9 April 2025

Increase

Child Student Visa £490 £524 £34
Short-Term Student Visa (6-11 months English language course) £200 £214 £14
Visiting Academic Visa (6-12 months) £200 £220 £20

What This Means for You:

  • If you apply before 9 April 2025, you will be charged the current visa fee.
  • Applications submitted on or after 9 April 2025 will be subject to the new fees.
  • Priority and Super Priority Visa services remain unchanged (£500 and £1,000, respectively).

We encourage students planning to study in the UK to prepare their applications accordingly to avoid unexpected costs or delays.
