"The best thing about Aberystwyth University is its student body. I've made lifelong friends during my time studying in Aber, and the lovely seaside town is handily connected to the Midlands, however, properly distant from the hustles from big cities - a perfect spot for people to bond with each other regardless of distinct cultural backgrounds, departmental specialisations and professional ambitions. As an international student, the experience in Aber has helped me to establish a true connection to the UK and gain unique experience and knowledge of Wales and the West Midlands (which is uncommon for Asian students as most complete their studies in England). Both have become crucial factors that helped set me apart in my later career development – I now work in commercial banking.
