The University of Edinburgh was founded in 1583 and is one of the six ancient Universities in the UK. We have over 45,000 students studying here making us one of the largest institutions in the country and we are a truly international University with around 45% of our student population coming from outside of the UK, and more that 160 nationalities represented on our campuses.
We are committed to embedding employability into the teaching and learning experience. From offering access to volunteering schemes to providing support via our sector-leading Careers Service, the University provides lots of opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and experience, giving our graduates the edge in a competitive job market.
And lastly, we’re located in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city. There’s always something happening in the city for everyone - whether you’re interested in music, theatre, shopping or trying international cuisines.
