"I love the campus and the city, living and studying in Lincoln has been both amazing and enriching. I have gained lots of practical event management experience and my course teachers have been helpful in recommending relevant work placements including opportunities to organise music festivals, business conferences and lectures. With the help of my teachers, I managed to get two work placements – planning academic lectures for a corporate business event and an internship at an international music festival. These experiences let me put all my training from the university into practice and gave the confidence to take on big projects. I also participated in the Lincoln Award project, which is an employability framework to support students including mock interviews, simulated written tests and group cooperation simulations. The careers support is very comprehensive with 17 different assessments and training courses which helped me to secure a summer internship placement in the United States."

I first learned about the BSc Banking and Finance programme from an older classmate when I was studying the first two years at Shenzhen University. I was deeply attracted by the course structure at Lincoln, as it was a good mix of theory and applied finance. What ultimately convinced me to study at Lincoln was hearing about the Lincoln Students Managed Investment Fund（LSMIF), an investment fund operated and maintained by Lincoln business school students. All the operation and transactions are entirely managed by students, and everything operates in a real-world financial environment. This was exciting for me and a great way to gain practical experience. At Lincoln I also had access to the most common mainstream financial data software and the latest market data such as from Bloomberg, news, and a great deal of comprehensive historical data. I completed my undergraduate studies at Lincoln making great friends and learning lots of valuable skills. Now approaching the end of my studies, I have received postgraduate offers from University College London, University of Bristol and Durham University. I have less than two months to go in Lincoln, but I know that life in Lincoln will be forever in my heart."
