I chose the University of Nottingham primarily because of its outstanding reputation and its Career and Employability Team. As a world-leading institution, Nottingham excels in teaching and research while placing significant emphasis on student employability. The university offers numerous internship opportunities and regularly hosts presentations related to career development. These resources are incredibly valuable for graduates facing the highly competitive job market. One of my favourite experiences at the University of Nottingham has been the wide range of activities and societies, which have added so much to my university life. Being a part of the Bellringing Society has been a particular highlight. I had the chance to regularly practice bell ringing, visit churches in different cities, and learn about their fascinating histories. These experiences have made my time at Nottingham truly memorable, offering a great balance of academic and social engagement. Moreover, the Career and Employability Team has been incredibly supportive, providing valuable resources and guidance that have significantly contributed to my professional development.

The University of Nottingham enjoys a high reputation in the world. I am attracted to the MSc in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering programme at this prestigious university for the forefront application-oriented curriculum and practical learning outcome that is highly relevant to my previous academic and working experience. I look forward to studying at Nottingham University to enhance my theoretical and practical skills and problem-solving abilities with professors and fellow students and to share my experience on the issues facing an algorithm engineer in the workplace with them. I really enjoy studying at the University of Nottingham library. The facilities here are comprehensive, making it convenient to print materials, and there are areas for group discussions where I can interact with classmates. If studying becomes tiring, I can visit the self-service beverage machine for a cup of hot chocolate to refresh myself, or go outside to enjoy the scenery and relax.
